Director of Development The Ohio State University Columbus, OH The Director of Development serves as a major gift officer for the University and provides direction and coordination of fundraising strategies for the College of Pharmacy. Develops and implements long and short term plans to secure major gifts from alumni, friends, volunteers, corporations, foundations and other entities in support of the college and university's mission, objectives and priorities as set by the Dean.  Manages the college portion of the University campaign and plans and directs programs for identification and involvement of volunteers and also trains and evaluates volunteers.  Supervises Director of Communications/Alumni Liaison and Alumni/Development Coordinator to coordinate a comprehensive advancement plan for the college Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills Desired: Master's Degree and strongly desire at least two years of fundraising experience with a proven record of success in identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding annual, special or major gifts from individuals, corporations or foundations.
