Columbus Zoo and Aquarium Chief Development Officer

CHIEF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is seeking a full-time Chief Development Officer to lead the Zoo's fundraising programs into an exciting new era of growth and opportunity.  Duties will include directing the development department's efforts dedicated to Zoo expansion and innovation while furthering our commitment to conservation and education and increasing earned revenues.  Viable candidates will have 5-10 years of successful fundraising experience, including but not limited to:  annual and planned giving, major gifts, grant writing and corporate sponsorship.  Must also possess management experience with the ability to build and lead an effective team; excellent communication skills; ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships and a proven track record raising funds for non-profit organizations.  CFRE preferred.
