Development Coordinator

Long time, successful non-profit seeks full-time fundraising professional for leadership of the Development office in Toledo. The Development Coordinator will report to the Director of Development, Planned Parenthood of Central Ohio.
Qualifications:
Commitment to a pro-choice philosophy, mission and practice
Bachelor's degree or minimum of two years fundraising, event planning, donor relations experience
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to be an effective team player
Demonstrated skills in problem-solving and situation analysis
Ability to achieve positive outcomes in a team environment with individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds
Proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office and Raiser's Edge
Responsibilities:
Coordinator will meet or exceed the annual financial goals for the region as set forth in the agency's operating budget and annual development plan. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, prospecting, managing direct mail solicitations, success in closing major gifts of $1,000+, implementing special events and grant writing. Coordinator maintains the gift processing, financial records, prospect/donor data and coordinates the efforts of the local Leadership Council.
