Saint Charles Preparatory School Director of Development Saint Charles Preparatory School is seeking a Director of Development to oversee the school's advancement program. Reporting to the Principal, the director sets the strategic agenda for the school's Alumni Annual Fund, Parents Annual Fund, donor stewardship, and special gifts. These are areas that have seen significant growth and are expected to continue this trajectory. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree (an advanced degree is preferred) and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in development, preferably at a Roman Catholic high school, faith-based non profit organization, or faith-based institution of higher learning. Candidates should have some experience in capital campaign and major-gift fund raising; have an understanding and some experience managing a donor stewardship program and a donor-recognition giving society; be fluent with gift-receipting standards and gift accounting standards; exhibit an ability to convey the school's founding mission of “No boy will be denied access to a Saint Charles education based on a lack of economic means.” A commitment to Roman Catholic education and the goals and values of Saint Charles Preparatory School is critical.
