Kent State University encourages highly qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Director of Planned Giving. The Assistant Director will assist in the planning and implementation of a fundraising campaign and events for the Center for Gift and Estate Planning. This position is also directly responsible for managing a portfolio of at least 150 prospects and will assist the Associate Vice President of Gift and Estate Planning and others in developing identification strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required and three years fundraising experience. Skill in sales or prospect management; ability to use contact management databases.
The Kent State University Division of Institutional Advancement is expanding their team in preparation of the University's Centennial Campaign, an unprecedented effort to raise substantial new resources for Kent State's students, faculty and programs. Kent State completed its first major capital campaign in 2003, surpassing a $100-million goal by $22 million.
Recently, Kent State was selected a 2008 NorthCoast 99 Award recipient, a designation that recognizes the “99 Best Places to Work in Northeast Ohio.” Kent State previously received the honor in both 2007 and 2005.
