As a mentor, I spend about one to two hours every other month with my mentee, working with them toward their goals and objectives. I have had the pleasure of meeting new people and becoming colleagues and friends with my mentees. I have been so impressed with my colleagues from AFP who have served as mentors. There is close to a collective 300 years of experience from those who mentored last year! If you have less than five years of experience in development, you should absolutely take advantage of becoming a mentee. If you have more than ten years experience, please volunteer to become a mentor. Please consider joining this important effort to bring together fund-raising professionals in a meaningful way. If you would like to participate please complete the Mentor or Mentee applications by <B>November 19.</B> </div> <bR> <div> <I>Participation as a Mentor</I> is available to members of AFP Central Ohio Chapter who have at least five years demonstrated expertise and experience in several areas of fund-raising. </div> <bR> <div> <I>Participation as a Mentee </I>is available to Chapter members who have worked as a paid development professional at a nonprofit organization for a minimum of least one year. </div> <bR> <div> <B>Please complete the application form (below) and return it to the AFP Central Ohio Mentoring Committee at the address listed below by 11/17/08</B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >.
